CNC MACHINIST
40.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm
Friday: 8 am - 3 pm
Salary - £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
A leading manufacturing company based in Lancashire specialises in cutting technology for CNC machined plastic parts and industrial plastic sheet & rod stock. They provide design assistance, 3D software, 5-axis CNC machining, rapid prototyping, conveyor change parts, plastic sheet stock, polyethylene food boards, and hygienic wall cladding solutions. Role Description
This full-time on-site position is for a CNC Machinist based at their manufacturing facility in Lancashire. The role primarily involves day-to-day operations on a CNC 2-axis Turning Center, as well as 3 and 5-axis routers. Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate, high-quality production are essential requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in machine operation, machining strategies, and adjusting tooling offsets
- Experience in programming using Fanuc controls
- Skilled in using precise measuring equipment to meet high-quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in the plastic industry is an advantage
- Apprenticeship or relevant training in machining or a related field
