Position: CNC Miller

Location: Chesterfield  

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Day shift (See below hours)

Job Description:


Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their night shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Mazak or Fanuc machinery, specifically 4 or 5 axis to manufacture parts for Rolls Royce engines. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality components are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimise manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller, with expertise in operating Mazak or Fanuc machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and flexibility to adapt to changing production demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
