Job Title: CNC Operator / Programmer
Location: Thetford
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
 
Shift Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 to 15:30
 
Overtime Opportunities:
  • Available based on work output and quality
  • Overtime may include earlier starts, later finishes, and occasional Saturday mornings
 
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced CNC Operators / Programmers to join our clients team. As a CNC Operator / Programmer, you will be responsible for the operation and programming of Mazak machines. While experience with Mazak machines is preferred, it is not a requirement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
  • Program CNC machines using Mazak-specific programming language if training and previous experience allows
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine errors or malfunctions
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer
  • Proficiency in programming CNC machines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
