CNC Setter/Operator

We require a CNC setter, operator for our sub-contract engineering client based in Dudley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this leading manufacturer of high-quality precision components for a wide range of applications and assembly. They supply across the UK to a host of companies fully utilising a small, highly skilled workforce.

This is a rare opportunity to join this company.

The right candidate:
  • Looking for advance their career within CNC Milling.
  • Experience with 4-axis Milling CNCs.
  • Fanuc programming experience (beneficial).
  • Proven experience of setting and operating Fanuc controlled CNCs.
  • Enjoy working within a small team.
  • Will want to take more responsibility for their own output.
  • Willing to be trained and learn.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Ability to read from technical drawings.
  • Show proven ability to set and operate Fanuc controlled CNCs.
  • Experience of milling different components.
  • Able to set and operate 2 machines simultaneously.
  • A good level of education with relevant qualifications.
  • Worked to ISO9001-2015 standards.

Hours of work:
7am - 5pm Monday - Thursday.
7am - 11am Friday (Optional Overtime).

Starting salary of £15 - £16 p/h with room for progression after a suitable training period.
