Churchill Howard are working in partnership with a commercial organisation based in Birmingham, seeking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to form a key part of their finance team. This role will support operational stakeholders within the business and as such, requires a strong communicator - capable of influencing and managing a team. There are clear pathways to career progression, and you will be supported by a talented and knowledgeable leadership team.

Key responsibilities:
* Analysis of current performance and determine areas and means for improvement
* Identify, assess, review, and resolve underperforming business areas
* Promote a partnerships approach across the wider business units and take ownership of relationships with key stakeholders
* Take a strategic approach to long-term business goals whilst engaging in critical activities for short-term wins
* Investment appraisals to determine future spend areas
* Lead finance representative for new business opportunities and contract renegotiations

You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong academics and a progressive CV to date. You will also need to be an excellent communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and providing appropriate challenge and support.

A salary in the region of £55,000 -£57,000 + bonus, hybrid alongside other attractive benefits will be offered to the successful individual.
