WOW do not miss out! ... Reed are exclusively working with a specialist manufacturer in Norwich, looking for an ambitious & self motivated individual to take on the role of Commercial Manager as a development opportunity on a permanent basis. 

You will have support from the Managing Director as well as a Business Coach and Sales Coach to develop yourself both professionally and personally.

This opportunity would suit a forward thinking, commercially astute and driven individual with existing client relations and sales experience, a self-starter with great use of initiative and leadership attributes to lead and motivate a small team, looking to drive forward their career. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with sound business acumen and ability to demonstrate skills within negotiation and cost-control.   

This business operates on a 4 day week, with great benefits including salary of £30,000-£40,000 dependant on experience, Private healthcare and 8% pension contributions and more.

Please note, this role is fully office-based and the company do not offer a work from home option based on the team integration and importance of being onsite for business operations. 

Your next career move includes...

  • Ensuring the operations team is fully supported in delivering customer orders in a timely manner and improving performance for optimum business efficiency, managing enquiries from inception through to delivery.
  • Leading the commercial & business development activities of the business, focusing on delivering sales growth in line with key business objectives, overseeing the department and maximising customer opportunities.
  • Actively researching new areas and prospect opportunities, proactively identifying and contacting clients to build client base and sales pipeline.
  • Analysing sales data and reporting to the MD to propose new ideas and implement enhanced sales plans.
  • Propose and agree the sales strategy and marketing strategy in line with short and long term business objectives, monitoring sales and marketing activity as well as emerging techniques to implement into the strategy 
  • Be part of the Senior management team with responsibility for the delivery of sales, profit and income generation
  • Supporting to define the product range and ensure clear pricing structures so the business achieves optimum margins
  • Recruitment, training, coaching and recruitment of team members to support them in achieving sales targets, with regular and consistent monitoring of performance against expectations.
