RSR Justice are currently recruiting on behalf of Trafford Domestic Abuse Service for a Community Team Leader

The purpose of this role is to lead and supervise the Community Team in the day to day running of the organisation’s Medium risk Community Service.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract initially until March 2025, and offer’s a salary of £32,076.

Main Duties:

  • Line management of Community team members to include recruitment, performance management, coaching & support and implementing formal employment procedures.
  • Ensure the provisions of a flexible range of services for adults who have suffered domestic abuse living in the Trafford community
  • Allocating cases within the team and analysing stats and data to monitor daily caseloads against resources and look for trends/pattern of behaviour.
  • Working closely with the Senior DAA to Quality assure all referrals into the service.
  • Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to survivors, including risk assessment, safety planning, referrals to other agencies and MARAC by allocating and monitoring work across the team.
  • Deliver awareness raising sessions to the public on domestic abuse and its effects on families.

Essential Requirements:

  • Substantial experience of working in a Domestic Abuse setting.
  • Proven supervisory and case management experience.
  • Working within a high-risk DA service.
  • Experience of working with individuals in a crisis situation, demonstrating strong crisis management, skills and ability to cope under pressure.
  • Experience of auditing cases effectively, efficiently and in a professional manner.

Role is subject to DBS check at the relevant level.
