We're in search of a skilled and motivated Solicitor with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to become a valuable member of our client's dynamic team.

This presents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and driven Solicitor to further enhance their legal acumen and contribute to the success of this burgeoning practice.

More about the Role

  • The primary focus of this role is handling high-value corporate and commercial disputes, with additional involvement in sports-related disputes and regulatory matters.
  • Joining the expanding team, you'll collaborate closely with a Partner, delivering legal support and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of intricate corporate and commercial disputes, spanning contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, and regulatory adherence matters.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft various legal documents such as correspondence and witness statements, and offer sound legal analysis and counsel to clients.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing dispute resolution strategies, encompassing negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Work alongside the Partner and fellow team members to devise effective resolutions to clients' legal challenges.
  • Address sports-related disputes, including contractual disagreements, disciplinary actions, and regulatory conformity issues, as necessary.
  • Participate in client meetings, as well as court hearings.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fully qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, possessing 2-4 years of PQE in dispute resolution, preferably with a focus on corporate and commercial affairs.
  • Outstanding academic background, with a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) and completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or equivalent.
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical abilities, with the capacity to convey intricate legal concepts clearly and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-value disputes and litigation matters, with a proven track record of securing favorable outcomes for clients.
