As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating credit risk, assessing customer creditworthiness, and ensuring the financial health of their company. You will analyse financial data, assess credit applications, and make recommendations to mitigate risk and optimise revenue generation.

Description

  • Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customers.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers, including conducting thorough credit checks and assessing payment history.
  • Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and make recommendations based on analysis and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to negotiate credit terms and conditions with customers.
  • Monitor and manage credit limits, exposures, and overdue accounts receivable, taking proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting on credit-related metrics and performance to stakeholders.

Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial analysis and reporting.
