Credit Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are thrilled to be working with a thriving business based in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join their team. 

This is a fantastic role in a fast paced environment, where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role. There are plenty of opportunities for progression and development within this team, and you will be given all the support and tools you need to be successful in your career.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

  • Contact clients / internal contacts for collecting debts of the company 
  • Work alongside the debt collection agency when debts become overdue
  • Ensuring appropriate prioritisation techniques & timely follow up on all outstanding debts
  • Full ownership of your assigned portfolio, driving resolutions and escalations
  • Driving cash flow & targets by strong portfolio management & relationship building

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable Credit Control experience 
  • CICM qualified (preferred, not essential) 
  • Excellent interpersonal & team work skills cultivating long term relationships at all levels of own & customer’s organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced dynamic environment demonstrating success at reducing aged debts & improving metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Salary is between £25k - £30k depending on experience, with hybrid working options available.
