THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:
- Crafting and aligning credit policies to adhere to regulatory standards and industry benchmarks
- Conducting in-depth analysis of credit portfolios, identifying trends, and optimising risk-return profiles
- Collaborating across departments to seamlessly integrate credit risk frameworks into broader risk management practices
- Staying attuned to industry changes, updating credit risk frameworks, and providing comprehensive reporting to stakeholders
- Communicating findings clearly to senior management, fostering a culture of risk awareness and understanding throughout the organisation
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and/or Python
- 5+ years of experience within the lending space
- Extensive experience with secured or unsecured products
- Substantial experience within the credit risk function
