Customer Service Coordinator

Salary £24,800

We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join the team within our client located in Hereford.  This is an exciting opportunity where you'll work as part of an engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done.

The Customer Service Coordinator must have the ability to prioritise, work methodically, use own initiative, and work calmly under pressure. An excellent, confident telephone manner together with the ability to proactively build positive customer relationships is a pre-requisite for the role.

Daily Duties Overview

• 60% telephone answering and 40% administrative tasks.

• Provide accurate customer information on product availability, lead times, and pricing.

• Process customer orders

• Monitor and check orders daily

• Arrange collections and raise credit notes for returned goods.

• Investigate and resolve customer issues.

Previous experience in a customer service focused role would be beneficial, along with the following qualities:

• Excellent organisational skills

• Ability to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately

• Experience working in a fast paced, high-pressured environment

 • Decision maker who can follow things through

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to deal with personnel at all levels

• Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise time and workload

 • Computer literate
