We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Housing Provider who operate on a remote working policy for a Damp, Mould, and Disrepair specialist on a permanent basis.

The Damp, Mould & Disrepair Specialist will join the Home Operations team and will be responsible West Rural Shropshire, Hereford and Worcestershire. 

Duties include:

  • Proactive Day to day management of cases relating to damp, mould, and disrepair,
  • Embracing a digital Service offer to enhance a multi-channel approach and be an advocate for innovative digital solutions, which offer flexible effective solutions for customers.
  • Carry our inspections and investigations to resolve construction/building related defects to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Provide an excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.

Experience Required

  • Excellent Customer Service experience and ability to think beyond process to find innovative solutions to customers.
  • Proven experience of delivering maintenance services
  • Understanding of CDM Compliance
  • Good understanding of decent homes
  • Knowledge of building components diagnosis of building defects, building/contract law, building regulations and housing law
  • Educated to a minimum HNC level or equivalent professional experience, in construction, Housing, management or property.
  • Experience of management Disrepair, damp, and mould cases.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle

Annual salary -£45,000 + £3715 car allowance, excellent benefits including flexible working, no office base required, generous holiday and pension package
