Data Engineer
Hays Recruitment are currently working with a local public sector organisation to recruit for a Data Engineer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Communication Skills (data)
- Data analysis and synthesis
- Data development process
- Data innovation
- Data integration design
- Data Modelling
- Technical understanding of Data Engineering
- Support and maintain the GIS
Main Duties
- Document any changes to data architecture
- Document source-to-target mappings
- Support the build of data streaming systems
- Write ETL / ELT scripts and code to make sure the process performs optimally.
- Develop data models to support self-service BI reporting
- Build accessible data for analysis
- Lead the build of data streaming systems
- Lead work on Database Management
