Experience as a licensed apparel designer in a supplier environment, confidence in range development and ability to customise license trends into commercial products, presentation skills and CAD,Illustrator and photoshop experience are desired experiences to enable success in these great vacancies.

Designers work with film and tv properties, music and retro / character licenses, icons and global brands. Customer base are supermarket and high street retailers.

Responsibilities include:

Guiding customers / buyers on market trends, fashion and licensed specific apparel

Understanding the end consumer for specific retailers and ensure proper range build

Developing ranges and products and presenting ranges to buyers, including mood boards

Developing and sourcing new trims and fabrics

Ensuring samples are produced accurately

Carry out trend research and create mood boards and colour trends, including travel in UK and overseas for competitor analysis

Attend trade fairs and liaise with Licensors on a regular basis

Liaising with sales and technical teams
