Digital Marketing Assistant

I am looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant with a passion for ecommerce and digital content creation for a fantastic company based in Medway. This role involves developing the ecommerce site, crafting engaging content for blogs, news pages, and social media, as well as supporting and implementing SEO strategies to enhance the company’s ecommerce presence. The role is based onsite within a friendly and supportive team. 

Day-to-day of the Digital Marketing Assistant role:

• Assist the Head of Digital in creating brand awareness and promoting products using all available digital channels.

• Participate in the planning and preparation of content that aligns with the digital media strategy.

• Manage advertising projects from inception to completion.

• Gather and analyse digital media analytics to measure effectiveness against the strategy.

• Write high-quality, original, SEO-friendly content for various platforms, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and industry trends.

• Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Digital Marketing Assistant role:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within content writing, ecommerce, design agency, PR & Communications, or SEO.

• Ability to create impactful campaign and digital marketing messages.

• Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and provide timely updates.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit copy efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to all interactions.
