Electrical engineering position

Days position The salary on this position £31,000

Our client is looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company within the Food industry. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

· Be available for call support for any issues or breakdowns that arise in the factory.

· Maintain the equipment up to date in respect of firmware versions and also stay informed of any obsolescence going on that might affect site reliability or compromise equipment performance.

· Support the maintenance manager to improve the work orders and maintenance completed on site.

· Attend the relevant meetings for the projects and keep a track of all the project milestones.

· Keep track of all the spend on the budget.

· Follow the established procurement process when obtaining quotations.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong Electrical background

· Basics of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

· Problem solving experience in a high-volume production environment.
