Job Role: Engineering Electrician
Location: Pontefract
Shift: Days Regular - Monday-Friday
Salary: £17 - £20ph

Metalis are working with a prestigious Engineering company based in Pontefract. They are well known for supplying of generators and manufacturing components within a wide range of industries.

They are a longstanding company, and due to an expanding order book, they are in search for an Electrician to join their welcoming and growing Electrical Engineering team for a fantastic new opportunity on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.

Job Role:

  • Working with the company's existing teams of electricians to carry out 2nd & 3rd fix electrical installations in their in house-built enclosure.
  • 18th Edition
  • Company works with upwards 450 volts per engine.
  • Capable of maintaining accurate records of all work carried out.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or C&G's 2934+2935 level 3 inspection and testing preferred but not essential.
  • Capable of working on your own or part of a team.
  • Ability to read engineering drawing helps.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial/Industrial applications.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm installation/commissioning would be advantage.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 - Qualified.
  • IPAF - desirable but not essential.
  • Engineering / Commercial / Industrial Experience necessary.

Shifts & Salary:

  • Days Regular shift pattern (Monday-Friday)
  • £17 - £20ph DOE.
