Embedded Software Engineer

Avanti Recruitment has partnered with a well-established, global manufacturer of electric distribution systems & power generators in the Bradford area.

We're looking for an embedded software engineer to join their tight-knit R&D team, where you'll be involved in a mix of greenfield projects, as well as supporting some of their legacy systems. The team is very small, so the ability to work autonomously and make decisions on your own is very important for this role.

There's a salary of up to £40,000 + a great benefits package on offer including private pension, healthcare and life assurance, and 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

What we're looking for:
Bare metal or real-time embedded software development in C & C++
Knowledge of LAMP stack (C#, HTML, Linux file systems, databases, etc).
Experience with communications protocols (CAN, Profinet, TCP/IP, Modbus would be advantageous)

Any experience developing high-reliability or safety critical software would also be very beneficial.
