Employee Relations Advisor Interim
Reed Human Resources are looking to recruit an Employee Relations Advisor on an interim basis.
This role is initially for 3 months, possibly longer.
Your duties will be as follows:
- Contribute to the delivery of a high quality and comprehensive People service across the business.
- Be the first point of contact regarding general queries relating to well-being and people management issues in areas such as absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances & performance capability.
- Advise on policies and procedures within the employee relations remit, providing advice and ensuring legal compliance whilst also fostering a positive culture.
- Contribute to the improvement of the People policies and processes.
- Influence employee relations interventions to resolve people-management issues early with an emphasis on informal resolution and promoting a supportive culture.
- Support line managers to ensure people issues are managed and resolved effectively, as well as helping to build improved line management capability.
- Manage a dedicated case load through to a satisfactory completion, balancing best practice with the need to make the right business decisions.
- Contribute to the preparation of legal submissions and ensure all parties complete casework accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain and develop knowledge on the application, interpretation and monitoring of up-to-date employment legislation, terms and conditions, policies, and procedures, in order to give advice and information to managers and employees.
- Advise leaders and line managers on implementing effective change management including the writing of robust rationale, effective consultation, and redeployment practices.
