This major UK law firm provide legal services across a broad range of legal sectors and jurisdictions for a diverse range of clients: from the FTSE250 to fast-growth start-ups, from individuals to some of the world's most established and prestigious organisations.
The national firm advise on all aspects of employment matters including:

  • All types of employment litigation, including high value, high profile claims and restrictive covenant disputes
  • Business sales, investments and outsourcing
  • Contracts and policies
  • Employee relations and trade union issues
  • Employee benefits and rewards
  • Operational issues, such as disciplinaries and grievances
  • Reorganisations, redundancies and TUPE transfers
  • Senior appointments and severance
  • training and HR consultancy services.


The team also have particular experience advising higher education and charities clients, as well as health sector clients and large private employers.

As part of the role, you will undertake a broad mix of contentious, non-contentious and transactional work with appropriate supervision as needed, predominantly but not exclusively for employers in the private commercial sector. The national team is split into sector teams, supporting employer clients in the Private, Health, Higher Education and Charity sectors. This opportunity will largely focus on Private Sector work and will form the majority of your workload.

The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience gained in a reputable firm in London with an established employment law practice. It is essential you have strong experience acting for employers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, as well as have excellent academics.
