Salary - £45k - £60k + Bonus

The Role

  • Collaborate with Technical Asset Managers (TAMs) to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of the portfolio's technologies.
  • Oversee Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Participate in technical due diligence for new asset acquisitions within the Energy Transition portfolio and assist with the onboarding process.
  • Engage in reinvestment planning and prioritization in alignment with the strategic goals of the portfolio.
  • Manage contracts, including operational and maintenance agreements, monitoring both financial and non-financial KPIs.
  • Oversee refurbishment projects and uphold procurement governance standards.
  • Conduct site visits, manage stakeholder relationships, and maintain effective communication across the portfolio.
  • Provide support and advice to the wider team, aiding in the achievement of the Energy Transition portfolio’s objectives.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the technologies, suggesting improvements and optimization strategies.
  • Oversee all National Grid Compliance and the Capacity Market agreements of all assets

Skills / Requirements

  • Experience in a technical role within the energy sector, preferably with familiarity in managing Gas Peakers, BESS, and Reactors.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a broad understanding of the power value chain, including the roles of TAMs and OEMs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, target-oriented, with effective negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to balance overarching strategies with specific operational details.
