We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and lead our GAS Projects division.

As the Engineering Manager for GAS Projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the engineering activities related to gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team of engineers to deliver successful outcomes. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of gas projects, from design and development to installation and commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Overseeing the design and development of gas systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales teams, and customers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering activities with project objectives.
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, regulations, and best practices in gas engineering.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to ensure the safety and reliability of gas systems.
  • Reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to the sales team during the pre-sales phase, including technical proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimation.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in gas engineering, and implementing innovative practices to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in engineering management, preferably in the gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of gas systems design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to gas engineering.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional engineering certification or membership is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the energy or power industry is a plus.
