English Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate with an English related degree, looking to gain valuable secondary school experience, prior to starting a teacher training opportunity in the near future?

Would you like to work in a ‘Good’ secondary school based in Wolverhampton, working on a 1:1 and small group basis with under-achieving English students?

If so… this is the English Graduate Teaching Assistant role for you!

*** £80 - £90 per day

The be successful in this role as an English Graduate Teaching Assistant you must have an English related degree and have a strong understanding of English in general. An ideal candidate must be motivated to want to pursue a career in secondary education.

In this role you will be assisting students in a 1:1 and in small group interventions, where you will be supporting the teacher on a daily basis. You will be given all the support you need from the teachers and shown the structured lesson plans for each class. This opportunity is a brilliant way to show off your confidence in an education environment where you will be utilising other key skills such as being able to keep the students motivated and engaged with the work.
