Your new school
This school has excellent, recently updated facilities both inside the classroom and on the site itself. Staff and SLT go the extra mile to help and have high expectations for their pupils. There is an established and well-planned curriculum including a supportive Head of Department. There are also a number of staff benefits, including no 'after-school' meetings.
Your new role
I am currently working with a school based in Wolverhampton who need an English teacher to cover maternity leave for the Autumn term.This will be 5 days a week teaching KS3 and KS4, marking and planning will be involved.You will be paid to scale from day one (MPS1 to UPS3 scale, depending on experience).
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - this is suitable for ECTs/NQTs
- Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
