Environmental Operative

Hexagon Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a local Public Sector Client. Due to seasonal demand, we are currently recruiting Environmental Operatives to help make Conwy a nice place to live! You will be centrally based at their site in Llandudno, working out across various different locations in the County – meaning no two days are the same!

Awaiting you is a great team working within an active environment! Their Base Site also benefits from an easily accessible location, making a straightforward commute!

**This is an ONGOING ROLE **

Pay and Shifts:

• £11.98ph
• 37 Hours per week over 5 days (This can include weekends)

An Ideal Candidate will:

• Be happy to work outdoors
• Have previous experience working in an outdoor/rural role
• Hold relevant licences/tickets such as hand tools, ride on mower, chain saw and weed spraying
• Able to work on weekends when necessary
• Hold a full driving licence
• Looking for a long-term prospect with a well-established client!

Your Activities will include:

• Maintenance of various public spaces including parks, gardens and hedgerows
• Will include grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed spraying and tree cutting
• Driving the maintenance vehicle to various locations around Conwy
  County
• Working as part of a small team
• Adhering to health and safety requirements
