Estates Project Manager required for an immediate start

Location:        Oxfordshire

Length:           6 – 12 months

Hours:             37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Designing and tendering approved schemes in accordance with relevant legislation, guidance and procedures
  • Providing monthly reports on progress of all projects for which the post holder is responsible
  • Ensuring that all work undertaken on the estate is carried out in accordance with the safe working procedures and statutory requirements
  • Ensure that any contractors employed to undertake works do so in accordance with safe working practices
  • Submitting planning and building control applications and liaising with local planners to secure approvals
  • Providing monthly updates detailing the progress made to mitigate identified risks/managing issues, any new risks identified, and the notification of risks that cannot be managed successfully by the projects

Essential requirements:

  • You must have proven experience of working on Projects with a Construction background
  • You have experience of leading and managing projects and subcontractors
