EYFS Class Teacher with Lead Responsibility | September 2024 - Ongoing/Permanent

Location: Hillingdon

Full-time - 5 Days/Week - Salary based on experience

Salary Range | M1 Outer London (£34, 514) - UPS3 Outer London (£51,179)

Teach Plus are currently working with a 2-form entry, 'Outstanding' primary school located in Hillingdon, who are seeking an experienced EYFS Class Teacher with Lead responsibility.

The school implements a research-based evidence informed practice, ensuring that all staff members work together to develop practice, resulting in students achieving their full potential. Regular CPD and INSET days are held to support the development of all staff, encouraging different pedagogical approaches. They also prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of all staff and pupils through various methods and events within the school.

The EYFS Class Teacher with Lead Responsibility role is a full-time ongoing position to start in September 2024, interviews taking place ASAP.

As an EYFS Class Teacher with Lead Responsibility you will be expected to:

  • Take on full classroom responsibilities for an EYFS Reception Class, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
  • Plan well-structured lessons in accordance with the EYFS National Curriculum
  • Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
  • Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school

As an EYFS Class Teacher with Lead Responsibility you will be:

  • Responsible for organising and managing teaching and learning in the EYFS Foundation Stage, including effective Performance Appraisal of staff
  • Support the creation and implementation of the school development plan, especially as it relates to the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom
  • Support the vision, aims, ethos and policies of the school and promote high levels of achievement

The ideal candidate for the EYFS Class Teacher with Lead Responsibility will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
  • At least four years' experience as an EYFS Class Teacher
  • A strong work ethic who is willing to commit for at least one academic year
  • Have a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities, demonstrating commitment and eagerness to develop your career further
  • UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
