Field Service Engineer  
  • £28,000 Basic plus overtime - £38,000
  • Monday to Friday only, 8:30 to 17:00. Will require flexibility depending on where in the country you are required to work 40 hours 
  • Market Harborough / Field Based 
Our client have a vacancy for a Field Service Engineer, capable of servicing and repairing machinery at customer sites.

The position is customer facing, so the Field Service Engineer must be presentable at all times, with good communication skills and able to work on their own initiative and would ideally suit someone from within the industry or from a Forklift Truck / Plant Machinery background, with diesel and petrol engine experience along with hydraulic and DC electrical diagnostic skills.

Experience of battery electric vehicles and/or groundcare equipment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities as the Field Service Engineer:- 
  • Servicing & Maintenance of machines  
  • Mechanical & Electrical Diagnosis and repair
  • Complete and report back service reports 
  • Liaise with aftersales department  
  • Adhere to health & Safety procedures at all times
  • Understanding of hydraulics
