Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer. Due to continued growth in size and order book, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer within the industry to join the team.

Quality Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronics manufacturing, RCA and Lean manufacturing

Accountabilities
  • Site Quality Control plan & Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Site Calibration System.
  • RMA Process (Problem solving, root cause analysis, trouble shooting, 8D).
  • ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation.
  • Customer Quality
  • Supplier quality management.

Responsibilities
  • Be part of the NPI team ensuring new product quality is monitored.
  • Monitor Quality KPI’s and lead corrective actions to resolve the root cause of an issue.
  • Maintain site Quality standards (target >99% FTPR in all departments)
  • Ensure RMA and Calibration Metrics are updated daily.
  • Manage and maintain the company calibration system on a system called Gagelist ensuring all equipment is kept current and up to date.
  • Take ownership and manage RMA / 8D / RPS activities on site ensuring customer issues are resolved in a prompt and efficient manner, targeting RMA resolution in 2 weeks. Knowledge of Redmine system would be an advantage.
  • Manage and maintain the company internal Quality Control Plan, driving improvement activities and carrying out quality risk assessments to continuously improve customer quality.
  • Manage and maintain the company QMS ensuring ISO9001:2015 accreditation.
  • Assist with internal Quality audits.
  • Technical support for operators to be able to achieve daily production demand and Quality targets.
  • Establishing a training and quality culture of continual improvement, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Production managers within the production area.
  • Be an active part of the Supplier Quality process.
  • Carry out Gemba walks - Coaching and training activities.
  • Work closely with the supply chain, production, and technical team to enable continuous improvement of all quality related KPI’s in line with the company objectives.

Development Responsibilities
  • You have experience developing solutions and managing change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • An excellent communicator, you can translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • With good influencing skills, you can manage change effectively.
  • Someone who shares and lives our values. Apply expertise in technical troubleshooting to identify and address root causes of issues, ensuring sustainable solutions are implemented.
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholders and their competing demands, balancing priorities to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to create, analyse, and present data as actionable information, driving informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
