Stirlingshire based | office-based role
Full Time role | Monday to Friday
Temp role initially with a view to the role becoming permanent
Pay rate up to £14.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay.
Search Consultancy are currently exclusively with a market-leading client based in Stirlingshire to recruit this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive transactional administration support to the Finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Purchase Ledger including processing incoming invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders & supplier reconciliations
* Sales Ledger including generating invoices & sending to customers, monitoring customer accounts ensuring payments are made, dealing with billing discrepancies & some basic credit control
* Carrying out bank reconciliations, cheque processing & processing of direct payments
* Various other Financial Admin duties as directed
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous experience in a Finance or Accounts Assistant role & experience of both Purchase & Sales Ledger - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written & verbal
* Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages including Excel - candidates with experience of Sage 50 or Sage 100 would be preferred
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage & prioritise a busy workload effectively
