Altum Consulting is proud to be working with well known children's health charity to recruit a highly motivated and proactive Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting role that will work closely with senior-level stakeholders and provide informative insights into the charity's financial health.

This role offers a hybrid working scheme of 2, occasionally 3, days in their Bristol office.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Supporting budget holders and providing them with relevant information to make sure they understand their budgets and financial responsibilities.
  • Producing and providing monthly management accounts, reporting on trend analysis, key income, and expenditure areas.
  • Analysing variances from plan and forecast as well as reviewing balance sheets to ensure correct reporting of monthly financial position.
  • Supervise junior members of the team ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the function
  • Work collectively towards the organisation's finance system implementation, adapting to the changing technological environment

The Finance Business Partner will:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA).
  • Ideally have experience or knowledge of working within the charity sector but not essential.
  • Have experience of working with a range of stakeholders across various levels, with ability to adapt approach.
  • Excellent time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent Excel user experience
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to explain financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Have strong organisational abilities including creative-thinking, problem-solving and multi-tasking.
