Job Description: We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team in Bristol. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a fast-paced and exciting environment within the media sector. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for effective resource allocation and business planning.

  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash flow effectively to meet operational needs. Implement strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks.

  4. Budget Management: Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and track performance against budgeted targets. Identify variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.

  5. Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management. Streamline processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  6. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.

  7. Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
