Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager (Childrens) on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will work alongside the Head of Finance and will oversee a team of up to 6 FTE within the Childrens Finance function. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the budget management of the service including the setting and monitoring of budgets. They will also act as the service advisor, providing expert financial knowledge to senior members of the team.

CandidateCriteria

  • Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with extensive PQE
  • Experience of working with a Childrens/Schools Finance team within a Local Authority/Government setting
  • Experience of budget management including forecasting and monitoring
  • Experience of managing a team within a Local Government finance setting
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
