£50,000-60,000 plus excellent bonus

Our client is a rapidly expanding privately owned real estate investor with properties across the UK and Europe. They are currently hiring for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing team and contribute to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing quarterly joint venture reporting, including bookkeeping and management account preparation
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and posting month-end journal entries including deferred/accrued income, lease incentives, prepayments and accruals
- Reconciling intercompany accounts
- Overseeing the reporting process being executed by service providers
- Handling Accounts Payable for joint ventures and company owned entities
- Ensuring tax compliance, including VAT return preparation and review.
- Managing relationships with service providers and stakeholders across Europe
- Reporting actuals versus budgets quarterly and assisting with audits.
- Drafting and reviewing statutory accounts.
Key Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/ CIMA qualification and a relevant degree
Prior accounting experience in either an accountancy practice or property industry
- Proficient in monthly journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and UK GAAP management account preparation (including consolidation)
- Skilled in managing stakeholder relationships and reviewing service providers' work, including tax filings in the UK and Europe.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and advanced Excel skills
- Working experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage, or Yardi is advantageous)
