Forklift Driver - Builders Merchants

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative for an well-established builders merchant based in Rainham. The successful candidate will come from a builders merchant environment and will join on a temp2perm basis.

The Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour - £12.50 D.O.E + Holiday Pay

This role involves:

· picking orders

· keeping the yard area safe, tidy and organised

· operating counterbalance & combi side-loader (training provided if needed)

· loading and unloading company and customer vehicles

· helping customers who come in to the yard

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

· previously worked in a Yard Operative role in a Builders Merchant environment

· previous experience using a counterbalance or side-loader forklift is preferred but not essential

· physically fit and able to lift heavy items

· fluent English speaking

· either living in Rainham or easily able to commute

· looking for a full-time permanent role

· reliable and hard-working
