Primary MFL French Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Primary MFL French Teacher to join our team, teaching students from Year 2 to Year 6. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about language education and is ready to inspire young minds.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality French language lessons to students in Year 2 through Year 6.
  • Develop students’ verbal and written communication skills in French.
  • Create a vibrant learning environment that supports language acquisition and cultural awareness.
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language learning across the curriculum.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to support students’ learning and progress in French.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in teaching French as a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) in a primary setting.
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy for language teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and motivating learning environment.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
