Are you an engineer with at least a basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality? Are you looking to be part of a company that wants to provide clean carbon-free combustion?

We have an amazing opportunity in Gillingham for a Fuel Systems Test Engineer to work for a company creating premium fuel systems, electrical systems, and industrial applications, with over a century's worth of expertise and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Advanced test setup - hardware/software
• Writing and editing test programs
• High level data manipulation
• Writing, editing, and debugging test programs
• Manipulating hardware and software to meet the requested parameters
• Fault finding in terms of test facility and product
• Monitoring of tests/in test interventions
• Data capture and fault reporting to internal customer base
• Calibration support of the test facility
• Instrumentation set-up and maintenance
• Maintain test in given test parameters
• Work instruction creation
• Work in a safe manner observing safety protocols for the given area
• Maintain test tracking / status process
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

• Good communication skills
• Resource supervision - key people
• Machine commissioning
• Computer literate (MS office)
• Basic knowledge of fuel injection system functionality
• Basic understanding of engine functions
• HND/BTEC/Degree in engineering, or experience in a similar engineering field (Auto, Aero, Motorsports, Cycling)
• Test equipment programming (AVL Puma/National Instruments)/editing/Mat Lab
