The Role

A unique and exciting business is currently on the lookout for an experienced Developer (Node, AWS, Javascript) to join their talented team. You will be joining their small yet growing team working on their internal systems and developing software applications from the ground up. You will work closely with the CTO and therefore there will be plenty of autonomy in suggesting new tech and driving forward their technical direction.

Skills:

• A thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and data structures
• Extensive experience with Node.JS
• An in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience working with Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud architecture
• The ability to analyse complex technical information
• Comfortability designing and implementing database structures and working with big data sets

Company

The company are changing the idea of what drones can do. The business was formed to design, develop and operate specialist commercial drones for a wide diversity of specialist roles; predominantly for offshore wind farms but also other commercial applications, including specialist deliveries, heavy lift, security and maintenance. They have a small office based in Leicestershire and the expectation is 2 days a week in office but there is more flexibility on successful completion of probation.
