Graduate BI Developer
I'm partnering with a technology focused Global Supply Chain business who are seeking a graduate to join their BI function as a Graduate BI Developer.
This role would suit an ambitious graduate who is looking to develop technically and gain exposure in a fast-paced global business.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, developing and maintaining a reporting system using Microsoft Power BI
- Cooperation with the management and staff indicated by the Principal in order to determine the scope of reporting, and then design and implement reports in individual functional and business areas
- Development of data models, transformations, measures and visualisations based on source data
- Authorisation rights management with regards to individual reporting modules, taking into account the scope of responsibility of users
- Cooperation with members of the Data team to ensure high quality source data and extend the range of available information
- Cooperation with report users, implementing modifications and reacting to reported errors on an ongoing basis
- Adjusting reporting to changes and expectations of the organisation.
What we're looking for:
- Numeric degree background e. Physics, Maths, Computer Science etc (min 2:1)
- Experience in a similar position would be beneficial e. placement year
- Experience in working with Power BI and Excel programs (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA, macros, etc.)
- Experience working with large amounts of data from multiple sources
- Ability to model and interpret data, including designing dynamic charts and presentations
- Ability to develop relationships with senior management and external stakeholders
