Graduate Finance Assistant | Luxury Fashion Scale-Up | London/Hybrid

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a world-renowned luxury fashion scale-up in their search for a Finance Assistant to focus on the accounts payable function. The business has a fantastic loyal customer base but continues to grow their presence in the luxury market with an increasing reach across Europe and America.

Growing 30% year on year and now at circa £45m revenue, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the business, with further growth projected in 2024. This role offers flexibility to work hybrid, with 3 days a week in the new bespoke office, while career progression is highly prioritised, with three members of the finance team being promoted in 2024 alone. The team regularly plan socials, fashion-related events and opportunities to access discounted products.

This role would suit an ambitious individual who has a passion for fashion, whether you're a graduate in Accounting/Finance or someone who went straight into industry after leaving school. You'll be working under an experienced Finance Manager who can support your learning and development from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Ensuring invoices correspond to relevant POs
• Chasing aged debtors
• Responding to supplier queries
• Preparing supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing expenses in line with company policies
• Supporting with month-end duties, e.g. reconciliations and bank postings

What we need to see (essential):

• Relevant educational background (degree/apprenticeship/college course in Accounting, Finance, etc)
• Great communication skills and confidence to partner with teams outside finance
• Proficient excel and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to numerical details
• Enthusiasm for luxury fashion!

What we would like to see (Bonus):

• Year in industry alongside education
• Desire to study for AAT, ACCA or CIMA

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 + study support

Location: London (3 days a week in office)

Start date: ASAP, however our client can wait until July if you are currently studying for end of term exams
