Head of Account Management
  • Location: Leicester, England
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per year

Our client is seeking a Head of Account Management to lead their efforts in customer attraction, retention, and growth. This pivotal role involves managing a portfolio of strategic accounts, nurturing and developing relationships, and working closely with our clients sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the Account Management Team, providing leadership and development.
  • Support the Sales team and engage with customers early in their journey, explaining the account management function and setting expectations.
  • Take full ownership of the Customer Onboarding Process, ensuring thorough communication and information sharing across the organisation.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations using key metrics to ensure customer delight.
  • Resolve issues promptly to maintain and strengthen customer trust.
  • Hold regular review meetings with customers to discuss KPIs and ensure their needs are met.
  • Act as the escalation point for customer issues, delegating resolution tasks effectively and following up for satisfactory outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure seamless communication between Sales, Operations, and customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong business judgement and leadership skills.
  • Empathy towards customers, with a focus on understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics.
  • Experience in building trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Discipline in maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Credibility, persuasiveness, and tenacity.

Additional Information:
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm (42.5 hours per week).
