Morgan McKinley are partnered with a global investment manager to hire a newly created Head of Content Marketing position, leading a team of 3 direct reports.

Responsibilities of Head of Content Marketing:

1.The opportunity is to support the Global Head of Marketing & Creative in implementing the overall marketing strategy, with a focus on centrally supported European markets, as well as global content initiatives, communications, and campaigns. Manage the global communications calendar and oversee investment writing requirements. Drive content themes and ideas, and oversee the production and delivery of all items. Also responsible for handling ad hoc client communications needs, including crisis communications.

2. Develop and execute product marketing support for all centrally supported markets, emphasising effective storytelling for a retail audience.

3. Lead the development and execution of all global content campaigns, aligning with the global marketing plan, managing campaigns, and ensuring successful delivery.

4. Coordinate the planning and execution of physical and virtual events for centrally supported markets as needed

5. Collaborate closely with broader marketing teams (digital and creative studio) and other functional teams to deliver outstanding marketing and capitalize on market opportunities

6. Manage the global literature suite, maintaining existing materials and creating new ones as necessary.

7. Oversee the submission of awards as appropriate.

8. Assist in building relationships with external asset managers and securing partnership support for various initiatives across events and content.

Skills And Experience required of Head of Content Marketing:

7+ years' experience in a similar role within asset management or the financial services sector.

Strong writing skills, with experience in investment writing preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Clear communication skills with clients, colleagues, and service providers.

Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for the role.

Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions to the marketing team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Experienced in line management.
