Head of Learning | Hybrid | Financial Services | £75,000 | London

We are recruiting for a forward-thinking organisation committed to financial services excellence. Following a recent review of their training strategy, they're on a mission to revolutionise how their customers learn and grow. As the Head of Learning, you'll play a pivotal role in driving their training strategy forward, ensuring year-on-year revenue growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with policy colleagues to ensure our training offerings reflect evolving industry priorities and changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Connect with customers and industry partners to align training objectives and support learning strategies.
  • Innovative Design: Shape and develop digital on-demand training programs.
  • New Opportunities: Identify innovative delivery methods and engage customers.
  • In-House Excellence: Grow and enhance their in-house training offerings, driving revenue.
  • Forum Leadership: Lead and develop the Learning and Development member forum, fostering research and demand.
  • Financial Acumen: Take ownership of annual training P&L targets, providing accurate sales forecasts.
  • Insightful Reporting: Provide relevant management information to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to create compelling content for promotional campaigns.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure quality assurance by engaging and managing relevant suppliers.
  • Product Ownership: Oversee content management or LMS solutions.
  • Leadership: Undertake broader leadership responsibilities within the Commercial Delivery team.

Your Skills and Competencies:

  • Financial Services Expertise: Strong subject knowledge within financial services.
  • Innovation: Research and explore relevant topics and delivery methods for training programs.
  • Creativity: Bring a fresh approach to curriculum design and delivery.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to inspire, motivate, and influence colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay attuned to commercial opportunities and drive enhancements.
  • Problem-Solving: Translate governance, risk, and financial crime issues into impactful learning solutions.
  • Learning and Development: Proven expertise in designing and delivering across various methods.
  • Budget Management: Experience handling budgets and driving commercial revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Engage, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Effective Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, including marketing support.
  • Supplier Relations: Manage and negotiate with key suppliers.
