Are you a Religious Education specialist ready to take the helm as the Head of Department in a vibrant mixed Comprehensive school near Malling? Look no further! We are seeking a passionate Head of Religious Education to lead the department from September 2024 onwards.

As the Head of Religious Education, you will have the opportunity to lead and teach in a supportive environment that fosters growth and achievement. The role commences in September 2024 on a full-time basis and will be on the MPS/UPS pay structure + TLR up to £3,214.

Contract: Full-time, MPS/UPS pay structure + TLR of up to £3,214

As the Head of Religious Education, you'll undertake responsibility of the dynamic Religious Education department, ensuring continued development of your team, strong attainment amongst pupils, and accountability for the performance of the team in addition to full teaching responsibilities. Your dynamism, creativity and dedication will play a major contribution to the academic success and personal growth of every member of staff and student within the Religious Education department.

Qualifications:

It is essential that applicants hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an alternative, equivalent qualification. Whilst prior Leadership experience is preferred, we welcome applications from experienced Religious Education teachers looking for their first foray into School Management.
