Job Title: Head of Strategic Planning

Location: Flexible within the UK - fully remote

Salary: Up to £65,000 plus 27% pension, healthcare & other benefits

Trinity House Group are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Strategic Planning to join and lead a Strategic Planning team within a dedicated community funding business. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance and Resources Officer, you will be responsible for aligning their strategic ambitions with their Corporate Plan and ensuring effective business planning processes are in place. As a key leader, you will inspire and empower your team to drive high performance and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Strategic Planning team to develop and implement business planning processes that align with their strategic objectives.
  • Provide strategic analysis to senior management to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the monitoring, reporting, and governance of their strategic programme of projects.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.
  • Contribute to the Finance and Resources Leadership team and present at Senior Management Team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legislation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in strategy management, with the ability to provide strategic analysis to senior audiences.
  • Demonstrable expertise in programme/project management and stakeholder management at a senior level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience in risk management and familiarity with business excellence frameworks.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Programme/Project Management certification (e.g., PgM, Prince 2 Agile Foundation & Practitioner) are desirable.
