Job Title: Health and Safety Tutor

Location: Rugby - Centre based

Salary: up to £33,000 (some flexibility DOE)

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more

Type: Full Time, Permanent 

Duties:
  • Teach/assess learners working towards a Health and Safety in Construction Environment course.
  • Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Criteria:
  • Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Must hold a Level 3 Health & Safety qualification.
  • Must hold a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience - ideally within Health and Safety.
  • Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
