**HGV Mechanic - Stroud, Gloucester - up to £55,000 OTE**

Are you an experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic looking to join a growing company in Stroud, Gloucester. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HGVs according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Conduct MOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding vehicle issues and repair time lines.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
  • Recognised qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HGV systems and components.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required.
