Job Title: Housing Strategy Manager
Location: Westminster, London
Contract Type: 3-month Contract, Hybrid
Pay Rate: £443/day

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Manager to join a local authority in Westminster. The Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the delivery of critical housing projects, driving impactful outcomes.
  • Produce and present high-quality reports to meet the needs of the Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to communicate improvement plans and progress.
  • Stay informed about housing strategy trends and best practices to facilitate decision-making.
  • Manage political processes, ensuring quality and consistency in department interactions.
  • Support and oversee external inspection frameworks, ensuring preparedness and implementation of improvement activities.
  • Coordinate consultation and engagement efforts with residents and partners to inform service development.
  • Ensure diversity and equality considerations are integrated into service development.
  • Facilitate appropriate reporting through various governance forums.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within housing strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
