They are now recruiting for a HR Advisor to provide a high-quality HR advisory service to all stakeholders, providing consistent, effective and well-informed advice to managers and staff on all employee relations and employee life-cycle matters.

They are now recruiting for a HR Advisor to provide a high-quality HR advisory service to all stakeholders, providing consistent, effective and well-informed advice to managers and staff on all employee relations and employee life-cycle matters.

Description

As a HR Advisor you will:

  • Provide support on employee life-cycle matters
  • Manage and support ER matters including; disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance, flexible working, leavers, TUPE, fixed-term contracts, redeployment.
  • Work in partnership with Occupational Health
  • Work with managers to develop their skills and understanding of people related issues, through formal and informal development routines, e.g. training and coaching
  • Encourage and support managers to use HR data to inform their decision making
  • Work with the Policy, Projects & ED&I team to effectively communicate and implement people related projects.
  • Work closely with the Trade Unions

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in ER.
  • Previous experience working with Trade Unions.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
